Women of Strength Sculpture Series 11 - 7 (Seconds)

This unique one of a kind sculpture is hand made with stoneware clay.

Each one has her own individual characteristics. "Recognizing the strength you have within" is the reminder that I would like to portray with these sculptures. They are very close to my heart, and I absolutely LOVE making them.

Each one will be approximately 12" tall, 2 1/2" around, and mounted on a 4" wooden base. Each one has the word STRENGTH stamped on the back.

This sculpture will be very carefully bubble wrapped and packaged knowing she will travel to far away places!

These "seconds" --

Once in a while, things do not go exactly as a sculptor and potter expects. In this case, there are a few cracks and flaws in this group of amazing "women". What did I decide? We all have flaws. We are all broken in some way. That IS what makes us stronger. So, instead of being sad about it -- I have decided to embrace it and offer this group as "seconds". You will see in the pictures, the exact places that the sculpture has flaws. (Good grief, can you imagine if all of our flaws were in the picture feed for all to see?!)
